Spatial Meshing Sample doesn't work : Spaces Snapdragon Forum

I configured all the settings as mentioned in the docs.

still I get this error

In order to use this feature:

- Enable "Spatial Meshing" feature in your project

- Grant permission to access your device's Camera

in Spatial meshing feature on device

everything else (except camera frame access ) works fine

Hi Pramod,

Your settings look fine. Please elaborate on the following:

Are you running our samples or modifying an existing project?
When exactly do you get this error, within Unity, when building, or when using the app?
What version of Unity, Spaces, and ARFoundation you are using?
Have you upgraded your runtime to version 0_11_1 which is the first to support meshing and camera frame access?

In order to use this feature:

when I go to meshing sample scene from main menu (by gazing pointer)

>Unity version =2021.3.18f1, Spaces sdk version is latest =0_11_11

I am using Unity's 2021.3.18f1 and spaces = 0_11_1 (the latest one)

Hi Pramod,

Sorry for the late response. We were experiencing some troubles with our backend. In case this is still relevant for you:

The recommended Unity version is 2021.3.16. If you can please switch to that version.

Can you please check the Snapdragon Spaces Runtime version you have installed? It should be 0.11.1 as well for meshing to work.

You can do this by

1. Going into the settings of your device

2. Searching for Snapdragon Spaces Services and

selecting the app. This should open the App info screen

3. Scroll down to see the version number

Also check if you have given the sample app camera permission

1. Open the app info panel for you app

2. Open permissions

3. Under Allowed, Camera should be listed

If this does not help, please try running the pre-built samples that came with the plugin package and report back on the results.
