Motorola Edge and A3 Dev Kit Android 14 Update: Compatibility Notice

Motorola Edge 30 pro and Motorola Edge + (2022) & Motorola Edge 40 pro and Motorola Edge + (2023)
The Android 14 update for Motorola Edge 40 pro and Motorola Edge + (2023) phones has been available since February 2024 . Motorola Edge 30 pro and Motorola Edge + (2022) may receive a firmware update for Android 14 in the future.
Android 14 on Motorola Edge devices is not a supported configuration for Snapdragon Spaces with Think Reality A3. Do not update to Android 14 and please remain on the latest Android 13 until further notice.
Phones that have been previously updated to Android 14 can still be used. However, please be aware that they may experience issues such as TR Cast not working anymore or other unexpected behavior. If blocked, please contact Snapdragon Spaces Support at support@spaces.qualcomm.com
Where to find the phone model information?
The phone model can be found under the section “Settings > About Phone”
Where to find the current build number information?
The current build number of the device can be found at “Settings > System updates” or “Settings > About phone > Build number”.
How to avoid future automated updates
Future automated updates of the device can be disabled via toggle at “Settings > System updates > Smart updates”.
