The latest info about recommended Unreal versions is available in the Snapdragon Spaces documentation at Setup Guide | Snapdragon Spaces™ Unity and Unreal SDKs (Qualcomm.com).

Snapdragon Spaces supports

Unreal Engine 4.27
As of Snapdragon Spaces 0.12.1 Unreal Engine 5.0
As of Snapdragon Spaces 0.19.1 Unreal E5.3

A future release is going to deprecate Unreal Engine 5.0 in favor of 5.3.

Unreal Engine is available via the Epic Games Launcher at Epic Games Launcher | Epic Games Store.

Note that these are the versions the Snapdragon Spaces team is using internally. This means they are tested most frequently and hence most stable. Other versions of Unreal Engine might work but aren't recommended and might come with some unintended side effects.
